Seller levels

Sell more. Get paid faster.

Listing is free and unlimited from day one. Every clean sale builds your trust score and moves you up five levels — each with a badge buyers recognize, faster payouts, and from Pro up, a lower seller fee. Levels you earn are yours to keep.

    When you get paid

Buyers pay through PayPal. To keep the marketplace safe, PayPal holds each payment and DiscandDeck's Trust Engine tells it when to release the money to you. The higher your level, the sooner that happens:

    LevelYour money is released…

    Your trust score (0–100)

Every seller starts at 50. Your score updates automatically whenever a sale completes, a dispute opens or closes, or your account details change — you can see it, and what makes it up, on your seller dashboard.

    What countsPoints

Each level also needs a minimum trust score — Verified 60, Pro 75, Power 90, VIP 96 — plus no open disputes.

    Probation — a pause, not a demotion

Your level and badge are permanent. But if something goes wrong, your payouts temporarily switch to Rookie rules (released after the carrier's delivery scan — when the buyer marks the order complete, or 48 hours after the scan). This happens when:

You keep listing and selling normally. Your normal payout speed comes back as soon as the dispute is resolved, or after 3 dispute-free completed sales — whichever comes first. We email you when probation starts.

How your seller fee is decided

The first one that applies to you is what you pay on each sale:

    1. A personal rate set for you by the DiscandDeck team (for example a partner deal).
    2. A site-wide promo, when one is running — the banner at the top of the site tells you.
    3. Your seller-level rate — Pro 5.75%, Power 5.5%, VIP 5%.
    4. The standard rate of 6% of the item price.

PayPal's own processing fee is separate and comes out of every payment. The rate shown when you list an item is the one that applies right now.

    How we count

    What's a completed sale?

An order the buyer confirmed, or that completed on its own after delivery. Orders that are cancelled or refunded don't count — and a sale refunded later stops counting.

What does "sold" (dollar volume) mean?

The total item prices of your completed sales — not shipping. Pro and Power can be reached by either the number of sales or dollar volume, so sellers of high-value items (GPUs, consoles, box sets) move up too.

How is positive feedback worked out?

From buyers' ratings of you as a seller: 4–5 stars are positive and 1–2 stars are negative; 3 stars is neutral and doesn't count either way. Your percentage is positive ÷ (positive + negative). No negative ratings means 100%.

    When does my level change?

Right away when a sale completes, a buyer rates you, a dispute opens or closes, or you connect Shippo — and once a day for account-age milestones. We email you when you move up.

    Can I move down?

No — once you unlock a level, the badge, fee rate and perks are yours permanently. If disputes or a sharp drop in your trust score happen, you go on probation instead: only your payout speed changes, and only until it clears. (In serious cases — fraud, policy violations — the DiscandDeck team can still adjust or suspend an account.)

    What's a dispute-free sale?

A completed order with no PayPal dispute or chargeback on it. Refunds you give voluntarily don't count as disputes, but a high refund rate (over 10% of your orders in 90 days) does lower your score.

    How is shipping speed measured?

The average time from the buyer's payment to the carrier's first scan of the package, across your last 20 shipments (once you have at least 3). Buying labels through DiscandDeck or adding tracking promptly is the easiest way to keep it fast.

    How do I become VIP?

By invitation — we invite founding partners, local shops and standout sellers — or automatically at 1,000+ completed sales or $50,000+ sold with 99%+ positive feedback.
